Our Richland Service department is seeking and experienced service manager to lead our service department.
Primary Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate the Agriteer Trucking Department.
• Schedule and dispatch drivers in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Coordinate hauling of Agriteer whole goods and customer equipment.
• Manage the trucking fleet and help keep vehicles properly maintained.
• Work closely with Sales, Service, and Parts to meet trucking needs.
• Support Agriteer’s mission, Core Values, and business philosophy.
Responsibilities
• Schedule drivers, loads, and deliveries.
• Confirm directions and obtain required permits when needed.
• Maintain the department’s personnel schedule.
• Work with the Safety Coordinator to keep driver files, DVIRs, and logs up to date and compliant.
• Communicate with Sales, Service, and Parts regarding trucking needs and schedules.
• Provide freight quotes, hauling schedules, and other trucking information to Agriteer team members
and customers.
• Coordinate local hauling when needed.
• Prepare transportation quotes and review internal, external, and custom hauling invoices.
• Use RIMSS for billing and trip planning.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment at the loading dock.
• Manage Agriteer’s Class 8 vehicle fleet.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Location Leader.
