Ag Equipment Sales Consultant
Waynesboro, PA

Our Waynesboro Sales department is looking to add an additional sales consultant to their Team.  This full-time position will sell agricultural equipment, focusing on planters and high horsepower units.

Primary area of responsibility:

  • Sell new and used whole goods equipment represented by Agriteer, with a focus on planters and high horsepower equipment.
  • Promote the interests of Agriteer, LLC in a manner consistent with its vision, mission, business philosophy and Core Values.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coach purchasers through complete sales process from initial contact to final close.
  • Timely completion of all paperwork required in the closing of a sale
  • Cultivate new business relationships while strengthening relationships with existing Customers.
  • Serve walk-in customers
  • Deliver parts to customers, and conduct consultative sales visits to explore sales opportunities
  • Conduct follow-up visits to customers of whole goods and repaired equipment to check satisfaction level.
  • Work with Sales Team regarding whole goods leads
  • Promote new and used equipment business to achieve optimal revenue.
  • Pursue appropriate, continual training on all products represented by Agriteer.
  • Maintain accountability with Corporate Office in establishing sales margins, inventory stewardship, trade-in allowances, etc.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with Location Management Team to ensure travel optimization
  • Present advertising or marketing suggestions to Sales Manager.
  • Any other task assigned by Sales Manager

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude, exuding courtesy, helpfulness and professionalism
  • Willingness to work overtime, including an occasional Saturday morning
  • Communicate professionally – verbally, nonverbally and in writing, in a timely fashion
  • Experience with ag whole goods, sales background preferred
  • Excellent people and computer skills, with proficiency in Excel
  • A focus on work that is detailed and accurate
  • Strong, relationship-based Team player and Customer service focus

Hay Equipment Service Tech
Leola, PA
Our Leola service department is looking to hire an additional experienced hay equipment service tech to their Team.  This position will focus on servicing hay tools, but working on other harvesting equipment as well, both in the shop and on the road.
Primary area of responsibility:
  • Set-up, service, and repair agriculture equipment with a focus on hay equipment.
  • Represent the interest of Agriteer, LLC in a manner consistent with its vision, mission, business philosophy and Core Values.
 
On-Going Goals:
  • Become trained and certified, as appropriate, for the equipment lines sold and serviced.
  • Pursue appropriate, continual training on a variety of products.
  • Learn all aspects of the service business at Agriteer, LLC.

• Lead and coordinate the Agriteer Trucking Department.
• Schedule and dispatch drivers in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Coordinate hauling of Agriteer whole goods and customer equipment.
• Manage the trucking fleet and help keep vehicles properly maintained.
• Work closely with Sales, Service, and Parts to meet trucking needs.

Responsibilities
• Schedule drivers, loads, and deliveries.

• Coordinate local hauling when needed.
• Prepare transportation quotes and review internal, external, and custom hauling invoices.
• Use RIMSS for billing and trip planning.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment at the loading dock.
• Manage Agriteer’s Class 8 vehicle fleet.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Location Leader.
